In recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2021, we partnered with Google Arts & Culture to unveil "Still Dreaming," a unique miniature museum showcasing rare photographs of Dr. King. These photographs, captured by Tammie Knight, designer and owner of Small Matters Miniatures, were curated from Google Arts & Culture archives by photographer Adrian Octavius Walker.
To generate pre-launch anticipation, we distributed 500 personalized invitations to "Still Dreaming" for Pixel influencers, micro-influencers, and the artist's close circle. This strategy resulted in organic social media posts showcasing the unboxing experience.
Engagement:
Our Facebook 360-degree post, allowing viewers to virtually explore the miniature museum, generated a positive response with a 0.27% engagement rate. This significantly exceeded the average engagement rate (0.07%) typically observed on the @Google Facebook page, reflecting a +0.2 performance increase.
Additionally, the Google Instagram TV video garnered 58.6K views.
By utilizing this multifaceted approach, we effectively commemorated Dr. King's legacy while promoting a unique artistic exploration of his life and impact.
